Nalini, a journalist, writes a news report on Sahadev Varma, a Talakona-based cotton farmer whose rare cotton has solid demand in foreign countries. The news report quickly catches the attention of RAW agents, who interrogate Nalini about the article and her research for over 15 hours. She learns from the agents that Sahadev is actually Eagle, a dangerous professional assassin; she sets out to uncover his past.

Eagle is a Telugu action thriller film written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni and produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under People Media Factory. It stars Ravi Teja in the titular role alongside Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, and Navdeep.
The film was officially announced on 12 June 2023. The background score and soundtrack were composed by Davzand, with cinematography and editing handled by Gattamneni himself.
On 6 November 2023, a teaser for the film was released, which revealed the first look of Ravi Teja.
Eagle was earlier announced to release on 13 January 2024, coinciding with Makar Sankranti. However, it was postponed to 9 February 2024 due to the clash of multiple films at the Tollywood box office during the Sankranti weekend. The film was simultaneously released in Hindi under the title Sahadev and mixed reviews from the critics and audience.
