Uonpopular opinion: Dead Man’s Chest is the best Pirates of the Caribbean film

 

Dead Man’s Chest is the best Pirates of the Caribbean

                     

I know the sequels get a lot of shit and I while I would agree the first is the best overall film for its simplicity, I would argue Dead Man’s Chest is the best for its complexity. It’s a long movie that fits a lot of story but it somehow works in its favor. The characters are already established so we get to see new challenges being thrown their way. I like the middle chapter feel to it and how they leave things with Barbossa returning to help them save Jack. Does anyone else feel this?
